Rosemary has a soothing effect on the respiratory system. Inhaling its steam can help the respiratory tract fight cold and flu viruses and improve nasal and chest congestion. The volatile oils carried in the steam are antiviral and antimicrobial.
Ingredients
- Handful rosemary leaves
- Boiled water
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil and pour over a handful of leaves in a medium sized bowl.
- Put a towel over your head and place your face just above the bowl.
Inhale deeply and slowly. Do this for at least 2-5 minutes. May be done 2-3 times a day but do not exceed 15 minutes per session.
