Fire Cider

Fire cider helps warm up the body, stimulates the immune system, and fights bacteria and viruses common during cold and flu season.

Fire Cider is a popular traditional herbal remedy with as many variations as there are herbalists.  Regardless of the variation, they all have a similar base recipe of garlic, onions, ginger, horseradish, and chile peppers in apple cider vinegar.1

We make quite a bit of fire cider every Winter and the recipe varies a bit each time depending on what we have available. Fire Cider made by us will contain most of these ingredients.

Apple Cider Vinegar

A fermented liquid with a variety of health benefits serves as the basis for any batch of Fire Cider.

Honey

Honey is an anti-inflammatory, relieves cough, and sweetens the mixture.

Onion

Antimicrobial and allergy relief.

Garlic

Antimicrobial Helps with upper-respiratory conditions, sore throat, congestion

Ginger

Anti-inflammatory, treatment of colds, nausea, arthritis, migraines, and hypertension.

Horseradish

Antibacterial. Clears lung problems, coughs and asthma.

Jalapeno Peppers

pain, improve memory, boost the immune and circulatory system, and promote hair growth.

Orange Peel

Helps with allergy symptoms, anti-Inflammatory, boosts Immune System, protects the respiratory system.

Rosemary

Pain reliever, improves memory, boosts the immune system, boosts the circulatory system.

Cayenne Pepper
